Promoting emotional skills in early adolescents with mental health conditions in music therapy : a content analysis of focus group interviews

Yet, the conceptualization of emotional skills is typically not systematically addressed in therapeutic practice. The research literature contains many emotional skills-related terms with overlapping meanings, and it can be challenging to determine which are applicable for example, to a music therapy assessment tool.
